Transeurop Eisenbahn AG
The Trans Europe Eisenbahn AG (TEAG) is a railway undertaking (RU) for freight and passenger services, active in the standard gauge network in Switzerland and in the EU area. The company was founded in 2001 and has the legal form of a Swiss stock corporation . Seat is Kirchberg BE , until March 2010 the company was domiciled in Basel . Karin Fleischhacker has been the only member of the company's board of directors since 2008, and Sebastian Franz is also registered as authorized representative. The company has not been subject to a regular audit since 2010 and has waived a limited audit.
The independent company "OES" operates in Russia and operates the company's " Nostalgie-Istanbul-Orient-Express " (NIOE) between Moscow and Ereen (Erlian) with a connection to Beijing . 22 cars are based in Moscow, 18 in Central Europe.
Rolling stock
TEAG operates the steam locomotives 01 1102 “Blue Lady” (built in 1940), which was again given streamlined cladding in 1996, 50 3670-2 and the electric locomotive SBB Re 4/4 I 10032 (built in 1946).
The rolling stock consists of the stocks of the former company travel agency Mittelthurgau and K&K GmbH and 1st and 2nd class cars of the ÖBB and DB. TEAG has a total of 70 railway wagons, 42 of which are nostalgic wagons.
The NIOE consists of two complete luxury train units. They are made up of sleeping, dining and Pullman cars that were previously used by CIWL in the former luxury trains Orient-Express , Edelweiss , Flèche d'Or , Cote d´Azur Express, Train Bleu and Süd-Express . There are also wagons of the former Rheingold from the holdings of the Deutsche Reichsbahn and the Deutsche Bundesbahn .
