Transformer house (Anzefahr)
The transformer house on Sindersfelder Strasse in Anzefahr , a district of the Hessian town of Kirchhain in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district , is a former transformer station .
The tent-roofed tower station was built in the first quarter of the 20th century to connect the place to the power grid. The building is bricked and plastered, the corners as well as the window frames and cornices are designed with sandstone blocks .
Due to its function “as a witness for the beginning of electrification in the country”, the transformer house is a listed building .
