Transit Ridge is a 6 km long mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends from the Royal Society Range in an easterly direction between Spring Glacier and Mitchell Glacier .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1993 after a transit theodolite , a device for geodetic surveys.
