The Spring Glacier is a glacier in Victoria Land, East Antarctica . In the northeastern part of the Royal Society Range it flows between Stoner Peak and the Transit Ridge to the Blue Glacier , which it reaches in the vicinity of the Granite Knolls .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1992 after Thomes E. Spring of the United States Geological Survey , who headed a two-person team for astronomical surveys at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station from 1969 to 1970.
