Special features in the representation for clear identification are not known. A good description of the coat of arms is helpful . All heraldic tinctures are possible, even natural coloring can occur. The bird is also known to be crowned in the coat of arms.

The bird also makes it possible to speak coats of arms . An example is the municipality of Trappstadt. The family names Trappe and Trappen are also ideal for “talking”. The choice of the heraldic animal bustard often coincides with the range of the animal. No symbolism is known.
