Los Andes Trappist Monastery
The Trappist monastery Los Andes is a Venezuelan monastery that has existed since 1987 , which is located 50 kilometers east of El Vigía in the state of Mérida and is part of the Archdiocese of Mérida .

The American Trappist Abbey of Conyers founded the Nuestra Señora de los Andes (“Our Lady of the Andes ”) monastery in Venezuela in 1987 , which was made a priory in 1999 .
