Trasfigurazione di Nostro Signore Gesù Cristo , also short form Trasfigurazione di Gesù , (Latin Transfigurationis Domini Nostri Iesu Christi ) is a titular church in Rome .

The parish was established with the decree Romanus Pontifex by Cardinal Vicar Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani on June 18, 1936. The church was built between 1934 and 1936 according to a design by the architect Tullio Rossi .

On February 21, 2001, the elevation to the title church of the Roman Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II took place ; Patron's name is the Transfiguration of the Lord (Trasfigurazione di Gesù). It is also the parish church of the Parrochia Trasfigurazione di Nostro Signore Gesù Cristo .

The church building has the plan of a basilica with a central nave with six indentations, a crossing and a large semicircular apse. All roofs of the main building are flat except for the side chapel. The church is known for its Byzantine style paintings . The entrance door made of bronze in the ancient Egyptian designed entrance front with the width of 2.50 and the height of 5 meters was created by Pierangelo Pagani. In the apse there is a copy of the painting of the Transfiguration by Raffaello Sanzio .

The church is located on the Piazza della Trasfigurazione in Via della Trasfigurazione 2 in the Roman quarter Gianicolense (Monteverde Nuovo).
