Francesco Cardinal Marchetti Selvaggiani (born October 1, 1871 in Rome , Italy ; † January 13, 1951 there ) was an Italian clergyman and cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church .

Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani was a seminarian at Almo Collegio Capranica and received the sacrament of priestly ordination on April 4, 1896 after studying mathematics and later Catholic theology and canon law .
