Traum Schallplatten is a Cologne record label group in the field of electronic dance music that is made up of the labels Traum , Trapez , Trapez LTD , Paintwork and My Best Friend with its sub-label MBF LTD . In total, the label family has released over 500 releases, 100 of them on Traum Schallplatten.
Traum was founded in 1998 by Jacqueline Reinhold and DJ and producer Riley Reinhold (also known as Triple R). The decisive factor was a trip to Buenos Aires , from which the first publication, the Dream CD 1 " Electronic Music from Buenos Aires " emerged.
The label was voted the second best national label in the Groove Reader's Poll . In the Raveline Reader's Poll, Traum came in 9th.
