Nathan Fake (born March 1983 in Norfolk , England) is a producer and live act in the field of electronic dance music .

Fake was best known for the track The Sky Was Pink . The remix of James Holden was elected to the Groove Magazine Reader's Poll for second best remix of 2004.

Nathan Fake doesn't give DJ gigs because he doesn't think he's a good DJ - he performs as a live act. At the age of 20, he released his debut single Outhouse on James Holden's Border Community label. In addition, other productions were made, of which Dinamo comes out on the Cologne label Traum Schallplatten and Watlington Street Saw Recordings. Later the record Dinamo appeared with remixes by Dominik Eulberg and Michael Mayer .

In 2006 the debut album Drowning in a Sea of ​​Love was released on Border Community. The album received praise in many music magazines and was voted the second best album of the year in Mixmag magazine .
