Trebuchet MS is a sans-serif font and is one of the Core fonts for the Web . It got its name from the trebuchet , a medieval weapon. It is the default font for title bars in Windows XP .
It has many distinctive features that set it apart from other typefaces , such as: B. from the large I distinguishable by a small arch of the foot l , the oblique sides of the large M, the Et form of the ampersand and the unusual design of the g - minuscule .
