Treichl (family)
The Treichl family is a Viennese upper middle class family with partly Salzburg-rural, partly aristocratic and partly Jewish roots. Its members include:
- Heinrich Treichl (1913–2014), Austrian bank manager and 1970–81 CEO of Creditanstalt and his wife
- Helga Treichl (1920–1995) daughter of Hilde Ullstein, the granddaughter of the publisher's founder Leopold Ullstein .
- Wolfgang Treichl (* 1915; † 1944 or 1945), younger brother of Heinrich Treichl and Austrian resistance fighter against the Nazi regime.
Furthermore the sons of Heinrich and Helga Treichl
- Andreas Treichl (* 1952), Austrian bank manager (General Director of Erste Group )
- Michael Treichl (1948–2017) financial investor in London
as well as the wife of Andreas Treichl,
- Desirée Treichl-Stürgkh (* 1964), known as the organizer of the Vienna Opera Ball , cf. Stürgkh .
