Pedal gutter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The pedal gutter can be seen to the left of the red paraglider . It runs steeply up to the Trettachspitze as a snow collecting basin .

The Trettachrinne is a 1.2 kilometer long and up to 200 meter wide snow field in the Allgäu Alps . It is located in a steep north gorge between Mädelegabel and Kratzer and is therefore well protected from direct sunlight. It is very steep at the beginning, but flattens out after a kilometer. The Trettach rises at the end of the snowfield , which later joins the Iller .
