Trevis (racing car)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trevis was an American chassis manufacturer in monoposto racing cars in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Trevis brand became known through the success of AJ Foyt in 1961, who won both the 500-mile race in Indianapolis and - with three other races - the USAC series that year with a Trevis-Offenhauser . Other pilots who started with Trevis racing cars were Bill Vukovich , Eddie Johnson , Clark Templeman and Bud Tingelstad .
