Georg Fickler

Georg Fickler (born August 21, 1937 in Erkheim ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Fickler attended elementary school in Erkheim and completed an apprenticeship as a gardener in Memmingen . In 1954 he received the state award for the best academic and technical performance in vocational training. Fickler spent two years in Switzerland for further professional training . In 1963 he became head gardener, in 1971 he made his own . He was also the dean's youth leader in the Ottobeuren dean's office and deputy district chairman of the KLJB Memmingen as well as chairman of the district youth ring in Memmingen and deputy chairman of the KJR Unterallgäu. In 1970 he became chairman of the district association for horticulture and land maintenance.

From 1965 to 1970 Fickler was district chairman of the JU Memmingen-Land, in 1966 he was the youngest member of the Memmingen district council . In 1972 and 1978 he was re-elected to the Unterallgäu district council . On June 3, 1977, Fickler replaced Bruno Merk who had left the Bavarian State Parliament , but left again at the end of the electoral term. On January 17, 1979, however, he returned to the state parliament after the election result had to be corrected; he replaced Franz Ihle . Fickler sat in the Bavarian state parliament until 1994.
