The Ticorn Peak ( English for tricorn ) is a 2320 m high and snow-capped mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises from a ridge between the Astro and Skua glaciers in the northern part of the Miller Range in the Transantarctic Mountains .
The northern group of a campaign carried out by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition from 1961 to 1962 discovered it and named it after its appearance, which is reminiscent of a three-cornered hat.
