Live and act

Trifonov, who comes from a family of musicians, worked in a factory until he was 24, and then worked as a circus musician . Influenced by the jazz shows in Voice of America , he dealt with this genre of music as a self-taught . Although he played with groups like the Plovdiv Folk Jazz Band in Bulgaria, he mainly earned his living at weddings. He studied at the Conservatory in Sofia and, because there was no economic basis for him as a jazz musician, dealt intensively with the country's folk music. With this orientation he quickly became a well-known saxophonist and wedding musician in Thrace.

After an hour of audition over the phone at Stian Carstensen , he became a member of the Farmers Market quintet in 1995 , with whom he performs internationally and has recorded several albums. He has also recorded with Kaizers Orchestra ( Maestro , 2005).
