The Trifonov Point ( English ; Bulgarian Трифонов нос Trifonow nos ) is a headland in the southeast of Elephant Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3.85 km northeast of Cape Lookout and 4.5 km southwest of Endurance Point and forms the northeast boundary of the entrance to Zlatni Pyasatsi Cove .

British scientists mapped them in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2019. It is named after Captain Christo Trifonow, skipper of the trawlers Rotalia and Aktinia , which operated in the waters around South Georgia from December 1983 to August 1984 and from December 1984 to July 1985, respectively had operated on.
