The drift digging is a Meliorationsgraben and right tributary of the Selchow flood ditch in Brandenburg .

The ditch begins in the southwest of the Waltersdorf settlement , an inhabited part of the municipality of Waltersdorf , crosses it in a northerly direction and leads north of the settlement in a westerly direction over a total length of around 1100 m from the village. Now it runs largely in a southerly direction towards the Eichberg settlement. Over a length of around 1250 m, it runs parallel to the southern Plumpengraben to the east. It also crosses the settlement area largely in a southerly direction and finally drains south of Saarlandplatz into the Selchower flood ditch.
