Trinidad Bonachera

Trinidad Bonachera (* 1961 in Huelva ) is a Spanish cultural scientist and teaches the Spanish language at the University of Regensburg . She wrote the only German textbook available in the German-speaking area that is specially tailored to the learning needs of Spanish native speakers. She also wrote numerous Spanish textbooks for German learners, all of which have been published by Hueber Verlag . Her "Large Spanish Learning Vocabulary" and a collection of Spanish phraseologisms and idioms round off Bonachera's publications.

Bonachera teaches all seminars on Spanish language practice at the University of Regensburg as part of his Spanish studies (basic and main studies). The Cursos de la lengua espanola (CLE I-IV) designed by her are based on the postulate of taking into account all integrated linguistic abilities, so that Bonachera students can do both listening comprehension exercises ( comprensión auditiva ) and free and controlled text production ( redacción de textos ). as well as the analysis of newspaper articles and fictional texts. Bonachera thus takes account of the need for a holistic approach to language teaching . The intrinsic motivation of the students is encouraged through imaginative conversation exercises.

Trinidad Bonachera examines state examination candidates as well as master’s students in an oral examination and awards one mark for language proficiency and another one for the student’s knowledge of the country.

The list of textbooks written by Bonachera shows her to be one of the most prolific writers of Spanish textbooks in the world.
