The church

The Trinitatis Church is in the Rodias district of the Milda community in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

The church of the small exposed village is surrounded by trees on the southwestern edge of the village.

history

In 1717 the patron Anton Ludwig von Schwartzenfels built the Trinity Church.

In 1844 the church was appropriately designed as part of an extensive renovation .

Especially in the years of the GDR , the church became increasingly dilapidated. The roof was damaged; some of the clay ceiling collapsed, the roof fell into disrepair, and the windows were leaking.

In 1992 the roof was repaired, in 2000 the building was renovated, in 2007 new, original church windows were installed and the furnishings were renewed.

Bell jar

The bell was cast in 1722.
