Trinitatiskirche (Legefeld)
The Trinity Church is located in the Legefeld district of the city of Weimar in Thuringia . The parish of Legefeld is part of the Buchfart-Legefeld parish association in the Weimar parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The village church is centrally located in the former village.
history
The foundation walls of the church date from the 13th century. The church burned down in a fire in 1788 and was rebuilt in the Baroque style the following year .
Steeple
The church tower only has a bronze bell that can be rung with a rope behind the altar.
inner space
The baroque interior with two galleries was redesigned in 1980 by Horst Jahresling . The special wooden pulpit altar is picturesquely decorated with fruits and tendrils and three stylized crowns . The two sacrament pews are intended for the kneeling reception of the sacrament .
organ
Carl August Witzmann supplied the organ and built it in 1842. It is still completely preserved and has 14 registers , which are divided between two manuals and a pedal.
