The Trinity Metro is the public transport company for the Texas city ​​of Fort Worth and other communities in the surrounding area. From 1983 to 2018, the company was called the Fort Worth Transportation Authority ( FWTA ). As part of the Dallas-Fort-Worth metropolitan area , some rail lines are operated jointly with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) public transport company.

Trinity Metro mainly operates the bus network in the city that overlaps with the bus network of the adjacent Denton County Transportation Authority . The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is a regional train, jointly operated with DART, which connects the city centers of Dallas and Fort Worth via the intermediate airport. The Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport has also been served by the TEXRail line since 2019 , which was set up by Trinity Metro alone.
