Trio Fado is a Fado group from Berlin .
Maria Carvalho from Porto , António de Brito from Lisbon , and Daniel Pircher, an Austrian who grew up in part in Portugal, founded the group in Berlin in 2002. Their first album was released in 2005. Since then they have given numerous concerts all over Germany. Her first foreign engagement took her to Armenia in 2005 , where she gave five concerts and appeared on television.
Since then, they have recorded two more CDs with the cellist Benjamin Walbrodt, who has since joined them, and gave numerous concerts, including abroad (Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Russia).
