The Triple Lake ( English for Dreifachsee ) is an irregularly shaped and triply segmented lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in a northeast-southwest orientation west of Shield Lake on the Breidnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains .
The lake is one of a series of lakes on the Davis Station operating biologists studied in 1974th The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia gave it its descriptive name in 1975.
