Trisha anger
Trischa L. Zorn-Hudson , née Trischa L. Zorn (born June 1, 1964 in Orange , California ) is a former American swimmer . The visually impaired Zorn last appeared at the Paralympic Games in classes S12, SB12 and SM12. With 41 gold, nine silver and five bronze medals, she is considered the most successful Paralympic participant.
Life
Swimming
Aniridia from birth, Zorn began swimming with the Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Team in Mission Viejo at the age of 10, and six years later she took part in the Paralympic Games for the first time. In 2004, Zorn competed in her last Paralympic competition after seven appearances.

Life besides swimming
Zorn-Hudson studied at Indiana University Bloomington and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a trained lawyer and teacher . She is married and has two stepchildren . An iris implantation in 2010 increased her eyesight from 20/1000 to 20/150.
honors and awards
- 1988: Candidate for Sports Illustrated Sportswoman of the Year
- 2000: Foundation of the Trischa L. Zorn Award, which has been given annually since then
- 2008: First visually impaired female athlete with NCAA Division I scholarship
- 2012: Induction into the Paralympic Hall of Fame
