The track starts with the chorus sung by Akon. In it, he asks a woman to get into his Lamborghini Gallardo and drive home with it. The repetitive Smack That stands for slaps on the woman's bottom. Akon then sings how he parks in a Cadillac in front of a club and then enters it. He has no problem picking up women because he is handsome and rich. After two refrains, Eminem's verse begins. This encourages people to drink alcohol and dance to the music on the dance floor. He heats up the mood and flirts with a woman who looks like one of the pussycat dolls . He also brings in his friend Akon, who is also on the lookout for women. After another chorus, Akon sings how both of them leave the club with several women and says he would spend the night with at least three of them.

production

The beat of the song was produced by Eminem. He did not use samples from other songs.

Music video

The video for Smack That was filmed by Benny Boom . It's a short remake of the movie Just 48 Hours .

At the beginning Akon is in jail and is approached by a police officer (played by Eric Roberts ) who is looking for a witness. Akon is then released from prison for a short time and, together with the police officer, looks for the witness in a nightclub using a photo and clues. In the nightclub Akon meets Eminem and the woman he is looking for. He throws in a disc and escapes with the witness without notifying the police officer. The video features guest appearances from Layzie Bone , Nas , Lil Fizz from B2K, and Kendra Wilkinson . It's the first music video with Eminem after his longtime friend Proof was shot. In memory of him, he holds his left arm into the camera with a large PROOF tattoo lettering.
