Livin 'out our dreams
We are right where we should be
With my arms out wide, I open my eyes
And now all I wanna see
Is a sky full of lighters"

Music video
The music video shot for Lighters was directed by American director Rich Lee. It premiered on August 22, 2011 and has over 120 million views on YouTube (as of July 2020).
At the beginning of the video, Bruno Mars plays the piano and sings the refrain. Eminem initially sits on the sofa in a messy room during his verse, writing his text on a notepad. He gets up and goes through a door in the floor into an underground passage that is lit with red torches. There he lights a torch himself and walks through the tunnel. Now Royce starts rapping at 5'9 ″ in a prison cell, also writing his text on a pad. Finally, he tears a poster from the wall, behind which there is a hatch, through which he climbs and is now also in the red-lit tunnel system. At the end of the video, both rappers get out of the tunnel and stand on a hill among other people while looking up at the sky where sky lanterns rise.
