This Is My Love is a song by the American singer and rapper Gold 1 . He recorded it with the US R&B singer Bruno Mars and the Chinese rapper Jaeson Ma. The song was released on October 19, 2012 on CD and as a download . It was featured on the Kontor House of House Winter Edition 2013 compilation .
Music video
The official music video was uploaded to the YouTube channel of the record label Kontor Records at the same time as the single was released on October 19, 2012 . It is 3 minutes and 37 seconds long. It starts with Gold 1, who is sitting at the piano and playing the intro. At the beginning of his singing he is shown in two locations, once in a red T-shirt leaning against a wall and once in the dark in a harbor with a white T-shirt and sunglasses. Then, alternately with these two scenes, several different people can be seen asking themselves What Is Love? ( What is love ). Then two Asians stand back to back and ask this question as well. At the beginning of Bruno Mars' chorus, these people are shown individually in other locations and they hold up signs with their opinion on love . Gold 1 walks through town between these scenes and sings along with some of Bruno's parts. Text is repeatedly displayed in black next to the people. During the second stanza, Gold 1 stands on the one hand in the harbor and on the other hand in a white jacket, black T-shirt and sunglasses in front of a building. He sings the lyrics. For the second chorus, people walk through the city in groups and then again hold up signs with the answer to the question What Is Love . The Asians who previously stood back-to-back and other young people draw hearts in the air with their fingers. Finally holds Gold 1 a sign saying Love Is Life ( Love is life ) before him.
