Mirror was a million seller in the US and reached 16th place on the Hot 100. In the UK, it climbed to 17th and a silver record . In numerous other countries the single reached the top 20, but also missed the top 10. The single came in 11th place in Belgium (Flanders) and 12th in Denmark. In France (22nd place), Australia (26th place) and Sweden (36th place) had middle placements in the top 50.
In the German-speaking countries, the song was most successful with 15th place in Switzerland. In Austria it did not get past 32nd place and in Germany it could not even place.
