Strange Clouds is a song by the American rapper B.oB , in which the American rapper Lil Wayne is a guest musician. The song was released on September 27, 2011 as the lead single from BoB's Strange Clouds album . The song was performed by BoB, Lil Wayne, Dr. Luke and Cirkut and is 3:46 minutes long. Most of the text by Strange Clouds deals with drug and alcohol use .
Music video
The official music video for Strange Clouds was released on December 5, 2011. It shows BoB and Lil Wayne on a grassy area and shows colored clouds from the point of view of a drugged and drunk person. Sometimes a woman is shown riding a horse, TI has a cameo .
Remixes
There are two official remixes for the song. The first premiered on January 12, 2012 and features TI and Young Jeezy instead of Lil Wayne . A music video was released on January 31, 2012. The second remix, in which rappers Kid Cudi and Tech N9ne participate, was announced on February 6, 2012 by N9ne via Twitter and confirmed on April 5, 2012 by BoB. To date, the remix has not been released.
Charts and awards for record sales
Strange Clouds had its greatest success in the United States, where it reached # 7. In the United Kingdom the single came to number 72 and in Switzerland to number 47 in the charts. It also achieved platinum status in the United States .
