Drop the World ( English for " Let the world fall ") is a song by the American rapper Lil Wayne , which he recorded together with the rapper Eminem . The song is the third single from his seventh studio album Rebirth and was released on December 22, 2009.

On Drop the World , Lil Wayne and Eminem rap about their anger at the people who put obstacles in their way in their lives. They affirm their inner strength and that they will not let anyone get them down. The text contains a variety of swear words, such as " motherfucker ", " fuck ", " bitch " or " bullshit ".

Music video

The music video released for Drop the World was directed by American director Chris Robinson. It was shot on January 31, 2010 in New York City and premiered on March 5, 2010. The video has over 260 million views on YouTube (as of July 2020).

It shows a large number of young people rioting through the streets at night and causing a riot. The crowd causes destruction and chaos in the city, while Lil Wayne and Eminem rap on the street or in the rubble. The rapper Birdman can also be seen in the video.
