The Singles is a box set that was put together from the singles by the US rapper Eminem that had been released until then and was released on December 12, 2003 via the labels Shady Records , Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records . Outside the US, it was released under the title International Singles .

The box contains the singles from the first three Eminem albums The Slim Shady LP ( My Name Is , Guilty Conscience ), The Marshall Mathers LP ( The Real Slim Shady , The Way I Am , Stan ) and The Eminem Show ( Without Me , Cleanin 'Out My Closet , Sing for the Moment , Business ), as well as the single Lose Yourself from the 8 Mile Soundtrack on ten CDs. It also includes instrumentals , a cappella versions, music videos and bonus songs. In addition, an Eminem interpretation of the song Wanksta from 50 Cent was included on an extra CD.

Cover design

The album cover is kept very simple, it shows a silver metal box with a lock, on the lower part of which are the words Eminem and The Singles .

Guest Posts

Guest contributions by other artists can be found on ten songs in the box set. Eminem's discoverer Dr. Dre represented on all four versions of the song Guilty Conscience , while singer Dido can be heard on Stan . The rapper King Tech has a guest part on Get You Mad and Steve Berman can be heard on the ski of the same name. Rocker Marilyn Manson supports Eminem on the remix for The Way I Am and Jay-Z is featured on Renegade . In addition, the rap crew G Unit has an appearance on Bump Heads .
