Aftermath Entertainment is an American music label that specializes in hip hop . It was founded in 1996 by Dr. Dre formed after he left Death Row Records .

Artists like Eminem , 50 Cent , Game , Busta Rhymes , Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre himself made Aftermath one of the most successful hip-hop labels. Aftermath Entertainment now works very closely with the later Shady Records and G-Unit Records , both of which (like Aftermath) are part of Interscope Records .
