Mel-Man

Mel-Man (* in Pittsburgh ; real name Melvin Bradford ) is a hip-hop producer for Aftermath Entertainment .

Mel-Man grew up in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. There he started rapping and producing. He released several self-produced albums and performed at concerts. Sam Sneed introduced him to Dr. Dre , while he split from Death Row Records and founded Aftermath. Dr. Dre signed him as a producer on his new label. At Aftermath, he was co-produced by Dr. Dre and was involved in his 1999 album 2001 . He has not been named as a co-producer on the albums since 2002, but is still under contract with Aftermath.
