Thoughts of a Predicate Felon is the first and so far only solo album by the American rapper Tony Yayo . It was released on August 30, 2005 on the G-Unit Records and Interscope labels as a standard and special edition.

Tony Yayo's label bosses 50 Cent and Sha Money XL were executive producers on the album . The music producer Focus… produced three songs on the album. Other instrumentals come from Eminem , JR Rotem , DJ Khalil , Havoc , Ron Browz, Black Jeruz, Domingo, Sebb, Punch, LT Moe, Sam Sneed, Megahertz and Studio 44.

Cover design

The album cover shows Tony Yayo's face on a mirror that he is holding in his hand. He is sitting in a prison cell and wearing orange clothes. On the right of the picture are the words Tony Yayo and Thoughts of a Predicate Felon in brown and white respectively.

Guest Posts

In addition to Tony Yayo, other artists are represented on eight songs on the album. His label boss 50 Cent is involved in the songs So Seductive , We Don't Give a Fuck (alongside Lloyd Banks and Olivia ) and I Know You Don't Love Me (alongside Lloyd Banks and Young Buck ). Rappers Eminem and Obie Trice appear on Drama Setter and the track Curious is a collaboration with singer Joe. When It Is What It Is the rapper Spider Loc has a guest appearance. Tony Yayo also works with R&B duo Jagged Edge on Project Princess , while he's supported by rapper Kokane on I'm So High .

Thoughts of a Predicate Felon entered the German album charts at number 34 on September 12, 2005 and was at number 71 and 77 in the following weeks before leaving the top 100. The album reached number 2 in the United States and stayed in the top 200 for a total of eleven weeks. Thoughts of a Predicate Felon was number 41 in the United Kingdom and 58th in Switzerland.

As singles , the songs were So Seductive , Curious and I Know You Do not Love Me decoupled.
