Young Buck
Young Buck (* 15. March 1981 as David Darnell Brown in Nashville , Tennessee ) is an American gangsta rapper . His stage name is an American slang expression for a black young man.
biography
Young Buck grew up in Nashville and began rapping at the age of twelve . At the age of 16 he got the chance to rap for the president of the Cash Money label . He convinced and moved to New Orleans . After waiting in vain for four years for his money, he decided to return home. There he was shot twice in his apartment. On one of his subsequent tours in New York , he met 50 Cent and his crew and became a member of the G Unit .
His first solo album is called Da Underground Volume , followed by Straight Outta Ca $ hville , based on NWA 's Straight Outta Compton . The album features productions by Lil Jon and Needlz and guest appearances by G-Unit members 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks , Tony Yayo and The Game . The colleagues Lil 'Flip , David Banner , Ludacris and Stat Quo can also be heard on the album, which has sold over two million times worldwide.
Young Buck stabbed 26-year-old Jimmy James Johnson at the Vibe Awards on November 17, 2004, who was after Dr. Dre struck several times. Buck surrendered and was given parole.
Buck played a small film role in the film Loyalty and Respect and contributed to the soundtrack. In 2006 he founded a sub-label of G-Unit Records called Cashville Records . His third album Buck the World was released on March 27, 2007 in the USA and on March 23, 2007 in Germany. The street single Do It Myself and the singles I Know You Want Me (feat. Jazze Pha ) and Get Buck contained on the album were released in advance . In the summer of 2007 it was announced that he had founded his clothing line called "David Brown", which is now bankrupt. In April 2008, 50 Cent announced that Young Buck was no longer part of the G Unit, but was still under contract with G Unit Records.
