from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jazze Pha (actually Phalon Alexander ; * 1972 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American rapper, songwriter and music producer.

Pha, who has made a name for himself as a rapper and DJ in the Atlanta area in recent years , has been one of the best-known American music producers in the hip-hop and R&B genre since 2002–2003 . He wrote hits for Aaliyah , Missy Elliott , Michelle Williams , Nelly , Angie Stone , David Banner , Monica and P. Diddy , among others . His most famous productions include Ciara's “One, Two Step” and Notorious BIG's “Nasty Girl”. A characteristic of many Jazze Pha productions is that the words "(a) Jazze Phizzle productizzle" or "Ladies and Gentlemen" are called out at the beginning of the song.

In spring 2006 his debut album "Happy Hour" should be released, which he recorded together with co-producer Cee-Lo Green and which includes collaborations with the Pussycat Dolls and Ciara. The release date was postponed further and further.
