Havoc (* 21st May 1974 as Kejuan Muchita in Queens , New York City ) is an American hip-hop - producer and rapper of styles Hardcore Rap , East Coast hip hop and gangsta rap . He became known as one half of the duo Mobb Deep .

biography

Havoc grew up in Queensbridge . Prodigy came from there, but he met in Manhattan at Graphic Arts High School , both of which were attending as students. The mutual interest of the two in hip-hop led to the founding of the duo Mobb Deep in 1992 , which had a recording contract from 1993 and had their commercial breakthrough in 1995 with The Infamous .

Havoc was both rapper and main producer on the Mobb Deeps releases . Especially with his productions he also worked outside of the duo, so he contributed to It Was Written and Nastradamus by Nas , Tical 2000: Judgment Day and 4: 21… The Day After by Method Man , Kiss of Death by Jadakiss , Duets, among others : The Final Chapter by The Notorious BIG , Curtis and Before I Self Destruct by 50 Cent and Recovery by Eminem at.

In 2007 and 2008 he also released solo albums for the first time : he produced every song on The Kush as well as on Hidden Files and was heard as a rapper on all tracks. Hidden files , on the other hand, had no commercial significance.

Another full-length player followed in 2013, corresponding to the year of publication and titled Havoc's lucky number 13 . In May 2016, a collaboration album with The Alchemist was finally released under the name The Silent Partner .
