Truth hurts

Truth Hurts (born October 10, 1971 in St. Louis , Missouri ; actually Shari Watson ) is an American R&B singer and songwriter .

Life

Before Truth Hurts signed a record deal with Aftermath Records in 2002 , she worked mainly as a songwriter for Eric Benét and Ray J, among others . Her debut album Truthfully Speaking and the resulting single Addictive were a huge success worldwide. Her second album Ready Now, which was released on Raphael Saadiq's record label in 2004 , received critical acclaim but fell through with fans.
