Music genre

Jon Connor says of himself that he is first and foremost a music fan and only secondarily a hip hopper. Accordingly, his music is shaped by influences from pop , soul , techno , alternative and soft rock . He described Seal and Cyndi Lauper as influences . Other influences include rappers from Flint, such as MC Breed , The Dayton Family and Top Authority . Accordingly, such samples can also be found in his music, for example from Supertramp or country guitar loops .
