The website laut.de rated the album with four out of a possible five points:
“The first thing that catches the eye is of course the Dre and Snoop reunion. "On The Boulevard" bounces in the modern G-Funk garb, which weighs tons, while the title track is reminiscent of blissful "It's Nutin But A G-Thing, Baby" times. Also deeply rooted in the Westcoast sound are D-12 with the Eminem production "Blow My Buzz" and the rather unknown Daks on "Riding High". Even beat artist Hi-Tek tries successfully on the Dre sound. And anyone who has already heard the flute on the first single "Bad Intentions" can imagine how it is grooved until they drop. Only Timbaland step out of line with his crazy country beats for Bubba Sparxxx and the dust-dry background music for Xzibit's wet and happy drunkenness "Get Fucked Up With Me". [...] It is probably one of those productions again where the (hip-hop) soundtrack is better than the film itself. "
