Pharmacy ( English for pharmacy ) is the debut album of the Stockholm music project Galantis . It was released on June 20, 2015 via " Atlantic Records " and its sub-label "Big Beat Records". In addition to the duo themselves, the songwriters and producers Vincent Pontare , Sviccen and East & Young also worked on the album. Three of the songs contained therein have already been released in advance.
Singles
The first single You was already part of their self-titled EP and has already received several million views on the Spotify streaming platform . As a result, the track should not embody the role of the lead single of the studio album Pharmacy . This represented the song Runaway (U & I) , which was released on October 5, 2014. The song quickly became a commercial success in various countries around the world. Gold Dust was published as a successor in the spring of the following year. However, this did not achieve single chart successes. Peanut Butter Jelly was released shortly before the album was released and was able to advance into the charts in almost 15 countries. In My Head and Louder Harder Better were subsequently decoupled.
Cover and design
On the album cover , a fluffy white fox with a jellyfish on its face is depicted on a blue that is getting lighter from top to bottom . The so-called “Seafox” of the art project of the same name, which can be found in London, forms the basis for the fox. Galantis stands between his ears . Inside the CD case you can see more foxes with jellyfish on their faces. The animals are always the same as on the cover, but they have always been edited differently. All foxes except the ones on the cover are used as single covers .
The CD is only available as a digipack .
