criticism

Entertainment Weekly gave the album a very good rating of "A-". Busta Rhymes points out on the album with justified pride of his switch from J Records to Aftermath Entertainment (" I ain't on J Records, I'm on DRE Records: Aftermath, bee-yatch! "). The rapper exudes the self-confidence of a man who is clear about his own "resurrection" after a break of several years.

Andy Kellman was disappointed with The Big Bang in a review for the All Music Guide . Busta Rhymes didn't sound more tired on any of his albums. The rapper has a handful of very good beats for the songs, from Dr. Dre and J Dilla, who died in 2006, wasted.
