Welcome 2 Detroit is a hymn to Detroit , the hometown of Trick-Trick and Eminem . Both rap about their cohesion and how they support each other in their city. Gun violence and crime are also reported.

Music video

The music video for Welcome 2 Detroit was directed by Davy Duhamel. It has over 16 million views on YouTube (as of July 2020).

The video was shot at The Shelter Club in Detroit and shows Trick-Trick and Eminem performing, among other things. In addition, it is based on the lyrics of the song when Eminem calls Trick-Trick during an argument and asks him for help. This finally shows up with his entourage in the club and starts a fight. Members of the Detroit rap groups D12 and Goon Squad can also be seen in the video.
