Songs

Singles

Cover of the single
My Name Is

Since 1998, 81 songs in which Eminem took part have been released as singles. 24 of these songs come from other artists with whom the rapper worked as guest musicians. Eminem's worldwide singles sales are over 170 million according to record awards.

Own songs

57 tracks that are included on Eminem's albums or where he is the main artist have so far been released as singles. Most of the decoupling is the album Encore with six singles, followed by The Eminem Show , Relapse and The Marshall Mathers LP 2 , from each of which five pieces were released. Only the singles Scary Movies , Campaign Speech , Chloraseptic Remix and Killshot are not on any album. The songs Role Model and Mosh were published exclusively for promotional purposes and therefore did not go on sale. Since 2009, many songs have only been released for download and no longer in physical form. The most successful single is the duet with singer Rihanna Love the Way You Lie , with more than 15.4 million copies sold . The artist's other number one hits include The Real Slim Shady , Stan , Without Me , Lose Yourself , Just Lose It , Like Toy Soldiers , Crack a Bottle , Not Afraid , The Monster and River . Except for the songs Just Don't Give a Fuck , Jimmy Crack Corn , Detroit vs. Everybody , Campaign Speech and Chloraseptic Remix were all able to place commercially released songs in the charts of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the United States.

Guest Posts

With increasing awareness, Eminem has often appeared as a guest musician on albums by other artists since 1998. Most of these guest contributions were created in collaboration with rappers who are or were under contract with his label Shady Records , such as 50 Cent and Obie Trice or, more recently, Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse . He also worked frequently with his discoverer Dr. Dre together and is represented several times on records by rappers from the Detroit area, such as Bizarre , Kid Rock and Trick-Trick . In total, Eminem has guest appearances on over 60 albums, of which only those are listed that have not been released as singles or are chartered.

Others (selection)

In addition to commercial publications such as singles and guest posts on other albums, free songs appear at irregular intervals that are distributed over the Internet. These so-called “freetracks” usually include “ disstracks ” against other artists, some of which were made available for download for marketing reasons , or songs that were recorded for an album and then discarded.
