The title The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady refers to Kid Cudi's and Eminem's alter egos Moon Man and Slim Shady . In his verse, the former raps, among other things, how his attitude to life has changed since he was in therapy for depression and suicidal thoughts in 2016 . Today he compares himself to a superhero who flies through the night. Eminem, however, refers in his verse, in addition to his status as a rap star, more to current social events. He criticizes the police violence in the death of George Floyd and is directed against all people who do not take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and refuse to wear mouth and nose protection .
