Straight from the Lab ( English for " Straight from the Lab ") is an unofficial EP of US rapper Eminem . It was released on November 7, 2003 as a bootleg .

The first song Monkey See, Monkey Do is an announcement to all rappers who want to mess with Eminem . The songs We Are Americans and I Love You More were later released on the bonus CD of the album Encore under the titles We as Americans and Love You More . In Can-I-Bitch , Slick Rick's song Children's Story is sampled, it's a disstrack against the rapper Canibus , while Bully is a disstrack against Ja Rule and Benzino . Come on In was later included under the name 6 in the Morning on the album D12 World and Doe Rae Me is another disstrack against Ja Rule, Murder Inc. and Benzino and also known under the title Hailie's Revenge .
Cover design
The original album cover shows the interior of a laboratory. Eminem can be seen in the lower left part of the picture, he wears headphones around his neck. In the upper part of the illustration are the words Eminem and Straight From The Lab EP . The alternative cover shows Eminem wearing a white jacket and hat in front of a car on a street. Rows of houses and people can be seen to the right and left of the picture. At the top left are the words eminem and Straight from the Lab . Both covers are in black and white.
Guest Posts
Two titles of the EP contain guest contributions by other artists. So occurs Eminem's rap crew D12 on the songs Come on in and Doe Rae Me in appearance. The latter song also featured rapper Obie Trice, who was then under contract with Shady Records .
