Business (English for. " Business ") is a song of the American rapper Eminem . The song is the fifth single from his fourth studio album The Eminem Show and was released on July 21, 2003. The song is also included in the box set The Singles .

content

The track thematizes the collaboration between Eminem and his mentor and frequent producer Dr. Dre . In the intro of the song, Eminem is played by Dr. Dre called to perform, whereupon Eminem describes himself as one of the best rap artists in the first verse and his collaboration with Dr. Dre compares to that of Batman and Robin or Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein . The chorus says that you don't have time for games and that you have to go to business, and there is also a swipe at the Insane Clown Posse , with which Eminem had beef at the time . In the second verse, the rapper emphasizes the truthfulness of his lyrics and criticizes many colleagues whose song content is all made up. This criticism is expressed in a typically ironic way with the sentence "There is no woman who looks good, cleans and cooks!" The third and last verse highlights the good chemistry between Eminem and Dr. Dre and that the duo is indispensable for rap music. For comparison, Eminem also points to his "dreaded" appearance together with Elton John and the song Stan at the 2001 Grammy Awards .
