Devon Sawa
Devon Edward Sawa (born September 7, 1978 in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada ) is a Canadian actor .
Life
Sawa grew up as one of three children of Ed and Joyce Sawa. His interest in becoming an actor was aroused in kindergarten by an appearance in the children's theater .
At 15 he made his film debut in The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1993). After two other small roles, he had his first leading role in the comedy film Casper in 1995 . He took on another leading role in the thriller Final Destination (2000), the year before was seen in a leading role in Die Killerhand .
In addition, Sawa was seen in a commercial for the toy brand Nerf Toys and in a music video each of the rapper Eminem (" Stan " The Marshall Mathers LP ) and the rock band Why Store .
In 2012 he stood next to Mia Kirshner and Nick Stahl in the found-footage thriller 388 Arletta Avenue and directed the horror film Sibling . His work includes more than 40 film and television productions.
Private
He has been with Dawni Sahanovitch, whom he married, since 2010. On January 9, 2014, their son Hudson was born. In 2016 the couple had a daughter.
